American Express founded Small Business Saturday in 2010 to help encourage people to shop small locally owned businesses on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Since its conception Small Business Saturday has become a powerful movement nation-wide. Buy Local Moscow encourages everyone to join in this movement Saturday, November 29th.
Buy Local Moscow will be giving out punch cards to shoppers on Small Business Saturday. Spemd $200 at member businesses and receive a “Love your Locals” t-shirt or a Nalgene “Buy Local Moscow” water bottle if you only $100. Cards may be picked up at member businesses throughout Moscow and redeemed at Hyperspud Sports or Wild at Art until December 6, 2014.
