Mardi Gras time! Saturday, March 7, Moscow Mardi Gras will fill the downtown bars with revelers. And this year, there will also be a great party for the rest of us, those who want to dance in a smoke-free venue.
Buy Local Moscow is sponsoring this smoke-free Moscow Mardi Gras Ball, to be held at the 1912 Center from 8pm to midnight on March 7. Expect an evening of fun, dancing to live music. Beverages, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase at the event.
Costume finery is encouraged. Dress in Mardi Gras style. Be flamboyant and colorful. Also, note that this will be a masked ball. Please wear a mask. We will be announcing mask-making and mask-purchasing options before the dance. When you are considering what to wear, remember the theme of the party: Dress Up to Get Down.
Tickets for the event will go on sale about February 15 at Mikey's Gyros and other Buy Local Moscow member businesses. Tickets for our party are $5 in advance, or $7 at the door. In addition, the $10 Mardi Grass ticket (for all the Moscow Mardi Gras events) will be honored at our party.
