The Buy Local Moscow Kickoff Party was a resounding success.
About 35 member displays filled the 1912 Center.?We sold $324 worth of raffle tickets for the forty or so donated raffle items.?An estimated 400 people filled the aisles.??br />
The kickoff party really had a party atmosphere.?People were smiling and talking and interested in what our member businesses had to offer.?The?ariety of complementary food and?everages really sparked those good feelings. ?br />
Thanks to all who participated, with especial thanks to those who organized the event: Amy from the Co-op, Louise from Mikey's, John from Hyperspud, Jenny from the 1912 Center, Joan from Wild @ Art, Melissa from Rdesign, and community volunteers Caitlin Cole (who distributed flyers) and Joe Campbell (who set up the sound system and tables). ?br />
