Our professional studio environment aids in development of musical abilities using a structured and comprehensive approach so that students learn faster. For over 13 years GTR Music Studio has specialized in private music instruction with lessons tailored to meet each student's needs, interests and level of experience, beginner to advanced. Aided by knowledgeable, enthusiastic teachers, our students have fun as they learn the technical skills necessary for playing an instrument and the concepts (theory) behind musical patterns and structure.
From starting your own band, playing in school or church music groups, open mic nights, or community events, mentoring senior high projects and prepping students for college and local competitions, to simply playing for your own enjoyment, GTR Music Studio has helped hundreds of students develop the skills and confidence to play out.
GTR Music Studio provides instruction in guitar, bass, piano, voice, ukulele, flute, and drums, as well as music fundamentals and theory. Ensemble and Rock Band groups are expected to be available soon.

Michelle Ward, director and lead teacher at Moscow Music Academy, earned a master's degree in music performance from the University of Idaho. An expert guitarist, she is proficient in a wide range of musical styles and has played professionally in a number of groups, including classical (Con Brio!), folk (Aurora), folk-rock (Sagin' Time) and blues (The ColdRail Blues Band).
